We Mix Media
Mixed media is traditionally defined as a technique involving the use of two or more artistic media, such as ink and pastel or painting and collage that are combined in a single composition.
When I named my graphic design company in 1997 this definition served as my guideline.
Almost 20 years later, the definition of mixed media has been updated to include the combined use of media, such as television, radio, print and the Internet, as for advertising and publicity.
The company name stands strong and continues to encapsulate everything we do.
My experience and expertise reflects the diverse nature of the industry. I have worked for silk screening and embroidery companies, news magazines and print shops as well as a wide range of business owners. I have designed ads, crafted logos, created layouts for print and online publications, managed mail campaigns, set-up and maintained social media communities and created web sites.
I collaborate with marketing professionals and business owners to touch on every aspect of branding concepts and companies. I work with clients from all walks of life to produce compelling messaging and bring their brand to the world.
As I continue to grow and develop I look forward to see what the next 20 years holds for the graphic design industry and Mixed Media.
